My wife and I have never had a Chef come to the table and cook before. What a amazing experience, please ask for Chef "Vanilla Rice" he needs a raise and is fantastic at his job. I'm soy and Wheat free so he made me some chicken and rice separate when he didn't have to. Thank you for treating me like a human!

So we went here to try it out because we are used to Hibachi resturaunts in Florida...I have to say this one is the BEST I have been to (sorry jimmy) Miguel our chef was awesome..resturaunt was clean and the food quality was amazing. Here's a lil secret..ask for the fuji sauce..no matter what you order. This is hands down the best for everything from the filet to the Yakisoba noodles. Staff was awesome.. We were given a show and constant courteous service even though there were only two of us at the grill. Anyone who goes to these places will know that when the tables not full..they dont have to try. This whole place put out for the customers. Hidden gem in Happy Valley...will absolutely be going back!

Fuji's is my all time favorite sushi joint, and there is some damn good sushi around Portland. The Fuji sauce that comes on the Sunnyside roll is like crack. I could drink a glass of it. The Crunchy Tuna, and the Dragon roll are my other favorites. Never have I had a bad time here. The service is good, and the sushi chefs are friendly and funny. I can't say enough how much I love Fuji's.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. The feel of it, the atmosphere and ESPECIALLY our Hibachi cook! He was awesome. His name was Nathan (Nate) and I would definitely recommend him again!!! He was fun, had great jokes and good stories. The Manager Mason however his attitude is just a joke. Manages and Bar tends and tells his employees to F - OFF while customers are trying to finish VERY unprofessional. To say your the manager, you should be ashamed. Overall the food was great and fun. Cocky manager was not needed.

It had been about 7 years since I've been to Fuji's but it was just as amazing as the first time. I went the food is delicious the atmosphere is inviting and the staff is friendly. open flames and cold sake will keep me coming back. I tried a Brew on tap it was a berry beery concoction I'm not sure I would drink it again or maybe the next time I drink it it will have grown on me

We've lived in the area over 5 years now, and Fujis had been one of the best places close by to go for dinner. The vegetarian options for sushi are outstanding, and the staff treats us like family. The food has always been great, especially their noodles!

AMAZING! The food was fabulous with large portions. There is a full cocktail bar along with the standard Japanese drinks. Its definitely a social experience sitting around the grill for dinner. Great for groups, couples or single dining. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It was like a seafood feast in this place. I love the seafood combo we order here. It was so good and worth to pay. We really enjoy the food and the service was great as well.

One of the best sushi restaurants I've ever been

The best 🍣 restaurants in any area have blended common sushi rolls and thrown their own creations in the mix that you can't get anywhere else. Not only does this establishment do so, but it does so with something so simple as a sauce. ✋Stop what you are thinking, yes just the sauce alone transforms every roll into a magical taste ride through the cosmos🌌🚀. A single home made secret recipe that has me buying every Sunnyside Roll plate that travels by on the conveyor belt will have you doing the same thing. Fuji Sauce, as it was nicknamed, is actually a Japanese Garlic Aioli. The sauce is so good they bottle it and sell it right there in the restaurant and I go home with one all the time (I am due for a new one soon 😁). Be mindful of the hours of operation because they close for a short time between lunch and dinner.

Great food, good portions, all the people that work there are friendly and know how to take good care of their clients. Cost wise $$$ it's up but for what you get which is totally fantastic to the taste buds is worth the treat. I highly recommend Fujis!!

Pretty shocked to see all of the good service reviews. Whatever you do, don’t sit at the bar top. It’s a rotating group of kids making drinks and not serving you. Had 4 people right in front of us not even acknowledging us when it was very apparent we were wanting to order. Had to ask for drinks and food. Was never even looked at. Seems like the servers came straight on over from a fast food restaurant. Food was excellent. But I can get excellent food other places.

Awesome sushi. A little pricey but if you get the $55 sushi deal it will easily feed four people. Nice stiff drinks are a bonus.

I've been going to Fuji's practically since they opened probably 20 years ago.... love it! There is something for EVERYBODY, even if they are opposed to sushi (my favorite). I always recommend it 😊

Good prices and large portions for the meals. Totally worth the 20 I spent on a dark chicken platter.

Oh my, so much food. Fun to watch the chef prepare your meal right in front of you. Better if you join in and participate too. This location also has a great looking sushi bar. Great staff and a great time.

It's a nice, simple place if you're not looking for something too crowded or fancy. Very good service, they have seats where cooks make your food in front of your table- there's a safe distance of course, between the chef and your table. Especially when often times flames reach up pretty high. Food is very good. Only downside is that the drinks are expensive, limited choice and they don't pour as much as other places. Other than that, it's clean and well kept. Booths are comfortable, nothing squeaking and tables are nice. The filet, steak bites and egg noodles are a good choice.

This is our go-to Sushi place! They serve amazing sushi. You can order rolls, or you can sit bar-style with the rolling sushi conveyer belt and pick out smaller bites. They have amazing Teppanyaki- make sure you call ahead for table reservations! Their deserts are great, especially their Green Tea Ice Cream! They have a cocktail bar, dining room seating- both booths and tables, and they always have sports games on in the bar-style seating areas. Prices are good and fair! Just an all around good time.

I sat at the bar. The bartenders were helpful and generous. The kid meal was still two meals worth. The ambiance was just right. And the four flaming grills just topped it all off. I would recommend to anyone.

Great service second to none. The food is amazing, best sushi I've had in a long time. Very fresh and these sushi chefs no what they are doing.

The food there is great service awsome my dad works there if you go on any say but monday ask for miguel to cook.

Great food and you will be full with a to-go box. Our waitress was helpful and explained our options. Hibachi grille master was funny and very talkative. Love the Hibachi show. I will return.
